For the August edition of Holy Trinity's FREE lunchtime concert series we're thrilled to welcome Jenny Gunnarsson.
Jenny is a Swedish-Taiwanese vocalist based in Brisbane, with a keen interest in chamber and small vocal ensemble music. A versatile soprano, Jenny is in high demand as a soloist, chamber musician and choral singer and regularly performs with many Brisbane's leading vocal ensembles ensembles including The Australian Voices, One Equal Music, Brisbane Chamber Choir, St. Stephens Schola and Viva La Musica.
Jenny, alongside Holy Trinity's assistant director of music John Rotar, will be performing a mix of works for voice and piano, including exciting new works by Jonathon Dove, Aija Draguns and John Rotar as well as classics by Schubert, Duparc, Gounod and others.
At the heart of this program is the thrilling and alluring song cycle 'Five Am'rous Sighs' by contemporary British composer Jonathan Dove.
