Tour of TCU’S Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine

In June 2023, we went on a hard hat tour of TCU's Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine. Now we will get to see the completed project!

About the project:

Welcome to Arnold Hall, the new academic home of TCU's Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine. Opened in 2024 and located in Fort Worth’s Medical Innovation District, this 96,000-square-foot building is TCU’s first major facility outside the main campus. Designed with both tradition and innovation in mind, its architecture mirrors TCU’s iconic aesthetic—featuring tan brick, red tile roofs, and arched facades.

A standout feature is the two-story east portico, supported by 104 fluted columns inspired by the campus’s Frog Fountain, symbolizing the strong link between the medical school and the main university. Inside, the building supports a modern medical curriculum with spaces like the Forum (a central gathering hub), a digital-first library, and a state-of-the-art “superfloor” with simulation centers, anatomy labs, and clinical training areas. Advanced technology, including medical-grade 3D printers, supports hands-on learning.

Strategically placed near major hospitals, Arnold Hall reflects a commitment to student wellness, real-world experience, and the development of compassionate, forward-thinking physicians.

The Project partners include design firms CO Architects and Hoefer Welker, engineering firms Dunaway and SSR Inc.
