Historic Fort Worth invites members and the public to kick off our 2025 Membership Tour series with an exclusive look at the newly opened Nobleman Hotel, a shining example of preservation through adaptive reuse.
Located in the Near Southside, the Nobleman Hotel offers a rare success story: rather than demolishing a piece of Fort Worth’s past, the developers of the Nobleman incorporated the historic Fire Station No. 5 directly into their design. Originally built in 1911, Fire Station No. 5 served Fort Worth for decades as one of the city’s earliest municipal fire stations. Its striking brick architecture and arched engine bays reflect early 20th-century civic design. Thanks to the Nobleman team, this local landmark is now preserved for future generations to experience in a new way.
Guests on this tour will enjoy behind-the-scenes access to the Nobleman’s blend of historic charm and contemporary luxury. The hotel features elegantly styled rooms, curated art and design details, and an atmosphere that reflects Fort Worth’s rich heritage.
Make a Night of It!
Following the tour, guests are encouraged to stay for dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, The Dutchman, which will be open and welcoming tour guests for an evening of fine dining.
This event is free for HFW members and open to the public with advance registration. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience how meaningful preservation can shape the future of our city.
