Description: Join Cook Children’s at the Las Vegas Trail Demonstration Kitchen for a community nutrition class. Participants can expect to learn how to use pantry staples to make a one pot meal. All registered participants will receive a FREE crockpot and the groceries used during class.

Health on a Plate: Holiday Edition

Description: Join Cook Children’s at the Las Vegas Trail Demonstration Kitchen for a community nutrition class. Participants with chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, or others are invited to come learn how to manage their chronic conditions during the holidays. Participants will make a healthy balanced meal alongside class instructor and go home with the ingredients from the recipe prepared in class.

Description: Join Cook Children’s at the Las Vegas Trail Demonstration Kitchen for a sugar cookie decorating workshop taught by a local pastry chef. Participants will get to enjoy some holiday cheer and learn how to make/decorate cookies. All supplies will be provided, and participants will go home with ingredients to make the recipe again at home.
