Moving From Shadows into the Light with Semaj Rramal Crawford

Moving from the Shadows into the Light is a powerful metaphor for allowing yourself to move forward in a process of change. The one thing that epitomizes change, is a shift in perspective.
This class will use the Allegory of the Cave from Plato’s Republic as a scene to show how something written about 380 BCE, as a discussion between Plato and Socrates about the mind of an individual and even a group, can be so relevant today.
My view is that we are a world full of Perspectives, and this class is about sharing those perspective so that we become better people.
The discussion will be divided into three sections. This first one is about what I call the Shadow Realm. The Second is going beyond the Wall. The third is about Seeing the brighter picture.
