Event Description: Healing Orchard Groundbreaking Ceremony
Join us for the Healing Orchard: Trees for Trauma Groundbreaking Ceremony on October 17, 2025, from 4:30–6:00 PM at Gren Park (2699 Clifton Hills Dr., Fort Wayne, IN). This special event marks the beginning of a transformative community project dedicated to growth, restoration, and connection.
The Healing Orchard will serve as a living space for mental health support, offering a peaceful environment where individuals can find solace in nature while nurturing personal and collective healing. Designed through a trauma-informed lens, the orchard will host educational workshops, horticulture lessons, mindfulness sessions, and community gatherings that foster resilience, empathy, and holistic wellness.
Each tree planted symbolizes renewal and strength—rooted in the belief that healing happens together. Through this initiative, Sheathed, Inc. and its partners aim to create a sanctuary where the community can reconnect with the earth, each other, and themselves.
