We’re talking epic dance parties to bust a move, bouncy inflatables to jump for joy, sporty games to get active, and cool activity stations hosted by some of your favorite community friends. And the best part? It’s all absolutely FREE! BIG FUN FEST is at Headwaters East on Saturday July 12th from 11am-6pm!

Families attending Big Fun Fest in Fort Wayne can look forward to a diverse range of activities provided by various local businesses. A Little Note For You is hosting an engaging music class specifically designed for infants up to five years old. A Party Apart is bringing the fun with Disney Princess and Star Wars bouncy houses, a nine-hole mini-golf course, and a "Splash Zone" featuring a dunk tank. Local creators Adrian Guenther & John Weber will delight families with a magical story time, sharing their book Hiccup Ben, followed by a live painting illustration. The Anthony Wayne Area Council Scouting America invites children to build and race LEGO cars on a 40-foot pinewood derby track, offering a fun STEM activity. Basche’s Martial Arts will provide a hands-on martial arts demonstration, complete with a prize wheel and board-chopping displays. EcoFest will be serving free hot dogs for kids throughout the day. Brightpoint will host a classic ring toss game and a prize wheel. Combat Ops Entertainment is offering kid-friendly axe throwing and a dart shoot challenge for all ages. Local fiber artist Ellie Tison will be on hand for face painting. Escapology will be giving away gift cards for their escape room experience. The Flax and Fleecers Guild will teach kids and adults wool carding, drop spindling, and basic weaving. The Fort Wayne Cinema Center will provide a big-screen movie experience for families. Fort Wayne Community Schools will offer a quick and playful game involving puck dropping and matching. The Fort Wayne Fire Department will have a real firetruck on display for kids and families to explore, along with fire safety information. Icy from the Fort Wayne Komets will make a special appearance for high-fives and photo opportunities. The Fort Wayne TinCaps will be giving away team swag and tickets. The Fort Wayne Youtheatre invites youth to explore storytelling through acting and movement. The Fort Wayne Zoo is generously donating free passes to the zoo. Genesis Athletix has built a gymnastics-inspired obstacle course for kids to test their balance and agility. Healthier Moms & Babies will provide an inclusive sensory activity. I Do Crew DJs will host a dance party with DJ Kara, complete with fun props. Imperio Entertainment will have two clowns creating balloon animals and providing entertainment. The Iris Family Support Center will feature duck race and duck pond games, as well as a family portrait selfie station. Local musician Jess Thrower Music will perform and lead a sing-along session, taking song requests. McMillen Health will offer a hands-on activity where families can learn about health and wellness. Mizz Bloom Arts will host an art station with painting, weaving, and other creative activities. MLK Montessori School will have a hands-on STEAM catapult activity and a classic bean bag toss. Ortho NorthEast will provide finger casts and information on bone health, along with goody bags. Putt-Putt Fun Center will be giving away free game passes and tokens. Science Central will host "Colors of Astronomy," a hands-on activity exploring the universe, and distribute take-home crystal growing kits. Solar United Neighbors will have a solar sticker making activity and coloring pages. Summit City Climbing Co. is giving away free climbing passes to their new indoor climbing gym. Summit Comics & Games will host a coloring station, a "create your own comic book" station, oversized games, and a giant community paint by numbers. Texas Roadhouse will feature a giant game of Kick Dart and fun crafts, and will be giving away a dinner for two package. Ultrazone Family Entertainment will be giving away passes for free laser tag games. United Art & Education will have sensory bins and another activity for children. Wags and Wiggles Rescue will be hosting a pet adoption event with puppies and kittens available. Wellspring Interfaith Social Services will offer a bubble art activity and healthy snacks. The World Baseball Academy will host organized Wiffle Ball Games for two age groups. Allen County CASA will have a "Spin-for-a-Smile" prize wheel with toys, stickers, coloring cards, and treats. The Fort Wayne Center for Learning will engage kids with "Race to 21" using giant dice and "Math Jenga," also providing handouts for educational games. Finally, the Indiana Agriculture & Technology School Fort Wayne Campus will offer a game demonstrating the intersection of science, technology, and farming, along with prizes.
