Meet Pastor Michael and Naomi Ijah were born and raised in Nigeria. They have been married for about 27 years and are the proud parents of three wonderful children. Michael graduated from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and holds a PhD in Missiology with a focus on Addiction and Recovery from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Naomi also graduated from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and recently earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from PFW.
Michael and Naomi began a pastoral ministry about 27 years ago and have founded over 20 churches across Northern Nigeria. They are presently pastoring Fountain of Hope, a multicultural community, and reaching out to the homeless and those struggling with addiction in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Their mission is to deliver the message of hope to a weary world (Isaiah 48:18). Their aim is to reach Fort Wayne's inner city and beyond with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, transforming the lives of broken people (Isaiah 61:1-3). Their work has made a significant difference in the community, helping the needy by providing essential resources that lead to freedom from sin, poverty, abuse, and social and cultural entanglements, and inspiring hope in those they serve.
Michael and Naomi's journey has faced numerous challenges. Having served and preached in local churches in Northern Nigeria, they have learned to share the Good News of Jesus fearlessly. The ongoing hostility from Islamic Jihadists towards the church in Nigeria has only strengthened their faith and determination. Despite persecution, destruction, and terrorism, they have developed a deep love for serving those around them. This experience has deepened their passion for the lost souls worldwide, motivating them to pursue their mission with even greater zeal.
Fellowship is at 730am. Announcements and devotion will begin at 745am. One CEU will be provided (for 2025-26 members or those that purchase a single CEU ticket).
