Fall Migration Field Trip: Songbirds on Jekyll Island

Add to your coastal Georgia birding knowledge with a whole new set of seasonal species! Join One Hundred Miles as we visit coastal Georgia's unique birding hotspots during the peak of fall migration.

In this trip, we'll focus on the freshwater ponds of Jekyll Island, exploring the importance of our barrier islands to migrating birds, who rely on these habitats for refueling and rest as they travel south. Timing is everything, but we hope to catch an influx of migrating warblers, other songbirds, and ducks.
