30th Arbor Day Celebration

Since 1995, JBER has celebrated Arbor Day every year to show dedication to cultivating community forests and inspiring environmental stewardship. Join us in celebrating 30 years by helping us reach our goal of planting 30 trees this season.

Ceremonial Tree Planting
• Reading of the Arbor Day Proclamation and planting of spruce and birch trees

Educational Booths and Activities
• Learn about JBER’s plants and wildlife
• Learn how to plant a tree from seed
• Paint rocks to decorate our Arbor Day Trees!
• Check out Alaska Army National Guard’s helicopter and firefighting equipment
