Fort Ransom Sodbuster Days

The two-day pioneering shows are preserving the heritage and educating the younger generations about farming methods and lifestyles of the past. Demonstrations include horse-powered threshing machine and corn grinder mowing and raking hay putting hay up the barn loft plowing corn binding digging potatoes sawmill two blacksmith shops wheelwright stationary hay baler music weaving and homemade samples of ice cream lefse rommegrot and pies baked in Dutch ovens over the fire. Admission is $10 kids under 12 are free.
