Hike With A Naturalist - Slant Rock Trail

Join us for a great opportunity to explore one of Little River's best swimming holes. The hike will be about 1.5 miles of moderate terrain. Be sure to bring good hiking shoes, a full water bottle, and a backpack.

WEATHER: As with all outdoor events, if it's raining/stormy or very poor trail conditions, we may have to cancel. If the weather is questionable, please check with the Canyon Center.

Date: Saturday, August 16, 2025
Where: Meet at JSU’s Little River Canyon Center-Fort Payne, Alabama on AL Hwy 35. We will caravan to the trail head.
Time: Meet at Canyon Center at 10:00 am (CST).

Fee: Free and open to everyone! Registration appreciated.
