Zine: Love Your Rebellion’s Therapeutic Arts Workshop 4 – Riot

LYR’s Therapeutic Arts Workshops utilize the exercises in our original therapeutic arts workbooks in a group setting with the guidance of an instructor. Each workshop offers opportunities for exploration and self-discovery via writing, visual art, music, and meditation. Course participants will each receive a copy of the workbook used during the workshop.

Workshop 4 utilizes Issue 17: Riot, which contains 3 activities and 1 guided meditation all about creating and maintaining a mindset of abundance. Materials required for this workshop: a cellphone that can stream audio from a website and headphones.

Welcome to Love Your Rebellion Issue 17: Riot. Here is a snapshot of the activities that will be offered during this workshop:

Activity 1 – The Source: a grounding meditation that explores feeling abundance vs scarcity though body movement.
Activity 2 – The Constellation: shift your mindset about an obstacle or issue through writing and visual art.
Activity 3 – The Garden: identify where love is found in your life and create a visual representation of it.
Activity 4 – The Pantry: use writing to identifying tools you can use to get through challenging times.
