Youth Improv Comedy Workshop (10-13)

Parks and Recreation is excited to announce a brand-new Youth Improv Comedy Workshop

Ignite your child's imagination at our one-day Youth Improv Comedy Workshop, where young minds ages 10-13 and 14-18 (in separate sessions) explore the exciting world of spontaneous comedy! Master improv coach Jon Artigo, mentored by legendary Del Close himself in Chicago, creates a supportive workshop atmosphere that celebrates creative risk-taking and builds confidence through play. Participants will learn valuable improv foundations while developing quick thinking, teamwork, and self-expression in a positive environment that turns every "mistake" into a delightful opportunity. This immersive workshop offers kids and teens the perfect chance to step outside their comfort zones, unleash their natural comedic abilities, and experience the thrill of improvisation—all they need to bring is their enthusiasm and readiness to dive into the fun!
