Instructed Life Drawing

Looking to explore life drawing without a long-term commitment? Join us for a special two-class session of our popular Instructed Life Drawing series—perfect for beginners testing the waters or experienced artists wanting a focused refresher.

Under the guidance of artist and instructor Francesco Gillia, you’ll learn to see the figure through gesture, form, and structure rather than simple copying. Each class begins with a 30-minute demonstration, followed by 2.5 hours of drawing from a live model with individualized feedback throughout.

What you’ll learn:
• Gesture drawing fundamentals
• Building the figure with essential forms
• Contour lines & landmarks for volume and perspective
• Overlaps, foreshortening & weight distribution
• Core vs. cast shadows
• Sighting techniques & simplified anatomy
