Here at McGregor’s, we’ve always believed a pub is more than four walls and a bar, it’s a place where we lift each other up when the road gets rough.
Right now, our dear friends Cody and Britney Weaver are walking through one of those hard seasons. While preparing to welcome their second child, Britney faced major surgery to remove a mass from her neck. Thanks to her strength, and a bit of grace, both she and the wee one are doing well. But the road to recovery has brought heavy costs and worries no family should carry alone.
So on Saturday, September 6th, we’re throwing open the doors and filling our house with music, laughter, and good company. Every pint poured, every plate enjoyed, every song sung will go toward helping the Weavers find some relief and a bit of peace in the storm. Cody himself will take the stage with Coby, and they’ll be joined by friends in music throughout the night. There’ll be a raffle and a silent auction, with treasures gathered from across our community, all given in kindness.
We invite you to come raise a glass, place a bid, and share in an evening that reminds us of what truly matters... that none of us are ever alone when we’ve a community around us. The craic will be ninety, the music will be mighty, and together we can help carry the Weavers through to brighter days.
