Blessing of Backpacks

Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church invites you to a special Blessing of the Backpacks, Students, and Administrators during both the 8:45 a.m. modern worship service and the 11:00 a.m. traditional worship service on Sunday, August 10.

All students—from preschool through college—are encouraged to bring their backpacks. During the service, we will take time to pray over our students, teachers, and school staff as they prepare for a new academic year.

This blessing is a meaningful tradition that reminds our young people they are not alone—they are surrounded by the love, prayers, and encouragement of their church family.

The 8:45 service is held in the Family Life Center, and the 11:00 service is in the Sanctuary.
