🌹 A Sacred Invitation: Veneration of the Relic of St. John Paul II ✝️

The faithful of Fort McMurray are joyfully invited to a once-in-a-lifetime encounter of grace as we welcome the First-Class “Ex Sanguine” Relic (of his blood) of St. John Paul II, lovingly entrusted to us by His Eminence Stanisław Cardinal Dziwisz, the longtime personal secretary of the saint.
This is a moment of profound blessing for our parish and our city — a time to draw near to one of the greatest saints of our generation, whose life continues to inspire courage, faith, and mercy. Through his witness, we are reminded of Christ’s call: “Be not afraid. Open wide the doors to Christ.”
Adding to this sacred grace, we are humbled to announce that Pope Leo XIV, through the Apostolic Penitentiary, has granted our parish the gift of a Plenary Indulgence for those who visit and venerate the Relic of St. John Paul II with faith and devotion. This extraordinary privilege invites us to deeper conversion, renewal, and a closer union with the Heart of Christ.
Come and join this holy moment of prayer and encounter. Bring your families, your intentions, and your hearts ready to receive the blessings that God will surely pour out through the intercession of St. John Paul II.
