This workshop is for ages 16 and up of any experience level
Led by experienced musical theatre instructors Jenny Price and Holly Dimm, this workshop runs for two and a half hours and blends vocal technique, movement fundamentals, and character exploration. You’ll learn warm up routines that protect your voice, tools for projection and clear diction, and basic choreography skills that bring songs to life. Small-group exercises and individual coaching moments will give you actionable feedback to refine your audition pieces and develop a commanding stage presence.
If you plan to audition for Keyano Theatre’s production of "Fiddler on the Roof", this session is a great way to prepare. By the end of the workshop you’ll feel focused, confident, and ready to step into the audition room.
If you’re not planning to audition, this workshop is an ideal opportunity to stretch your abilities. You’ll challenge yourself with new material, build confidence through supportive guidance, and connect with fellow performers in a collaborative environment.
Whether you want to try something different or deepen your existing skills, you’ll leave with fresh insights and greater self-assurance on stage.
