How to: Bird ID App & Walk

Join the park educator for a guided walk along the beautiful lakeside trail and learn how to identify birds using the free Merlin Bird ID app! Whether you're a seasoned birder or just getting started, this app makes birdwatching fun and easy — no cell service required once it’s set up.

Before You Come:
Download the Merlin Bird ID app while you have service to ensure it’s ready for use during the program.
Together, we’ll explore the sounds and sights of local birdlife and discover which feathered friends are visiting the lake!

Coming to the concert later? Feel free to arrive early, set up your seats, and then join us for the birding walk beforehand — it’s a great way to kick off your evening in the park!
