Open Clay Studio

We're very excited to present our first Open Clay Studio! Both members and non-members pay $15 to participate and receive three pounds of high-fire clay, plus access to our studio tools and studio space, and firing of your pieces.

(We anticipate bisque firing by the third week of July and, pending success with our new kiln, a once-a-week firing schedule.)

We also have a pottery wheel available in one-hour slots. Though registration for the open studio is not required, we are opening up five reservation slots for the pottery wheel (limit of one hour per person). We request you only reserve an hour with the pottery wheel IF you have already used a wheel in the past. We will be offering wheel classes soon for those who are interested in adding to their clay skills.

Though there may be folks present that have pottery knowledge, and we can all help each other out when needed, we will not have a skillsharer onsite to provide direct instruction. We encourage you to get creative, hand-building or wheel-throwing something you've always wanted to make! But, we can definitely give you a few ideas if you just want to drop in and give clay a try!
