This year marks a milestone of courage, hope, and determination—the 45th Anniversary of the Terry Fox Run, and Fort Frances is proud to be part of this national legacy of resilience and unity.

In 1980, a young man with a dream and one leg dipped in the Atlantic Ocean began a journey that would touch the heart of a nation. Terry Fox ran for cancer research, and although cancer took him before he could finish, his Marathon of Hope continues through us.
Fort Frances has been running for Terry since the beginning, and in 2025, we come together once again to honour his legacy and push forward his vision—a world without cancer.
Whether you walk, run, bike, or roll, everyone is welcome, and no minimum donation is required. It’s not about how far you go—it’s about coming together as a community to support cancer research and keep Terry’s dream alive.
