Stone Soup Community Circles: New Moon in Leo- Express Yourself!

Join us for this month's Stone Soup Community Circle!

Note the change in venue. Due to the closure of our beloved Haven, this container will be held in the Medicinal Gardens of The Healing Gardens Health Center in Old Town Fort Collins, as we celebrate community spaces to continue our spiritual endeavors.

*Circle will be an inclusive, supportive, non-judgmental place in order to practice the high sensation of being seen. All are welcome and all expressions will be celebrated!

LEO SEASON!!! It's time to play! The sign of Leo inspires a fiery desire for self expression. To create outward symbols of our inward state.

Ruled by the Sun, Leo loves to shine. Tapping into the bounty of warmth and abundance around us, our hearts want to sing, to harmonize, to celebrate with laughter and love. This season allows us to play in that sunny spotlight of vulnerable self expression with a lot more confidence.

What does your soul long to share? Where does your creativity blossom from? What would the greatest landscape of your own inner garden look like? Tapping into what really lights you up- and being willing to spread the seeds of your joy to others- honors the prideful nobility of the Sun's season.

Our circle falls on the same day as the Sun transitions into Leo and just days before the lively Leo New Moon on July 24th. This astrological moment may feel slightly crazed, as the high energy of Leo season excites, we will also have the confusion of four planets stationed retrograde. The "backward" seeming motions of Mercury, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto, (with Saturn and Neptune conjunct in Aries), may have us rethinking through a playful lens: what feels fun to us, how we stand out from the crowd, our quest to make our mark in the world, our dreamy desires to show up authentically, and the boundaries that seem to prevent us from doing that. All precious inner and outer expressions bring us ever closer to the enlightenment of our souls.

Leo Season basically begs you to enjoy the bounty of the Sun- including your inner Sun and the shining light that you are. Come shine in playful communion with your Stone Soup Community, and witness the excess of creativity and beauty that surround us here. The time to step forward with self-assurance is now! <3

Here's how it works:

Each month will have a different theme, based on the above astrological weather.

Come to circle prepared to share something with the group- it can be anything- a poem you wrote, piece of artwork, a craft, baked treats, homemade incense, oracle cards, a meditation, a dream, a story, psychic synchronicities, dance, movement, breathwork, teas, tinctures, wear a costume- literally ANYTHING that your heart wants to express, related to the Astro weather. Then, you vulnerably share this in our circle. Everyone gets a chance to contribute their own "ingredient," so each circle will be different, every circle will be fun!

(**Note, we are not making literal soup. Usually. :))

We know- it's incredibly scary to put yourself out there and share part of your innermost self. The high sensations that come with showing up this way are part of the medicine- part of the magick we will create together! This is how you manifest your desires. Face your fears, and do it anyway!

(Disclaimer: We understand that you may not be ready/able to prepare and share EVERY circle. Sometimes it's appropriate to show up and say "All I have to contribute today is my presence and my witnessing." But still show up! If it becomes a habit and people are consistently showing up without contributing, admins will gently reach out with encouragement to participate greater.)

Schedule:

5:30- 5:45pm: Greetings, social time, set up your seat and get comfy.

5:45-7:15pm: Set ritual space, circle shares.

7:15-7:30pm: Connections, goodbyes.

This month's venue:

The Medicinal Gardens at the Healing Gardens Health Center, a magickal labyrinth of plant medicine, right in the middle of Old Town Fort Collins. The garden is located right on the corner of Canyon and Oak.

Parking is accessible in the lot, (if empty), and street parking along the intersection of Canyon Ave and Olive St.

Chairs are not needed, we will utilize the rock seating, but feel free to bring a blanket to sit on, a water bottle, and bug spray if you need it! (Tea will not be available this month, although I may bring a pitcher of cold, herbal tea).

Venue may be shifted indoors closer to date if poor weather is anticipated.
