Ruedas in the Park

Let's dance ruedas OUTSIDE! This event is open to anybody who has danced Rueda de Casino before or who is interested in learning this fun Cuban group dance (previous salsa or other dance experience is required, though).

Mabry scouted a bunch of parks and we selected Rolland Moore because it has 4 shelters, each with outlets and tables we can move to create a dance space. We will try reserving one of these shelters, but for now plan to meet at the first one you encounter on the access road.

We plan to start with a group warm-up, and then we may divide into beginner and experienced groups for the first hour, have a break, and then form one big group during the second hour.

Much depends on who shows up! Leads are a limiting resource, so we REALLY hope as many leads as possible can join us. Regardless, we will definitely dance a lot of ruedas, practice calls & moves we have already learned, and hopefully learn a few more. Ahi na' ma'!
