Residency Concert w/ Sirona Ilse

Join us every last Wednesday for live music with our Summer Resident Musician, Kate Farmer. Residency concerts are meant to encourage collaboration, experimentation, and support our local blooming music scene. Music starts at 6pm, suggested donation is $15-20.

Sirona Isle writes love songs for the high mountains and expansive deserts of the American West. Raised in Utah and Montana, Sirona tells truths about the cultural and material realities of western culture, honoring the traditions she was raised in, while pushing against the ways that harm is perpetuated against the land and people in those traditions and reaching for a different way forward. Sirona’s debut LP, Mouth of the Mountain, speaks both to the love and care she has for
her home, as well as the depth of pain and grief she has found there. It is this tension between fostering the light and characterizing the shadow that Sirona channels in her writing and playing.
