On Wednesday June 4th we will be starting our next round of Progressive Lessons. Our options this month will be Introduction to Swing from 6:00 to 7:00 or East Coast Swing I from 7:00 to 8:00. Note: Students can retake our Introduction to Swing Class for 1/2 price.
Introduction to Swing:
This class will introduce new dancers to East Coast Swing. The 4-week series will start by introducing basic 6-count footwork, solid lead follow technique as well as a number of moves that can be transitioned to the dance floor right away. This progressive class is geared towards folks who have never danced before. Join our welcoming swing dance community by signing up for Introduction to Swing today!
We encourage students to take all four classes in the series and after the second week we do not allow new students to join.
East Coast Swing I:
East Coast Swing I is a progressive four-week class that will be geared towards dancers that would like to move beyond our Introduction to Swing Classes. Our plan is to review the basic moves that are taught in our Introduction to Swing class. From there we will introduce a number of new moves including tuck turn variations, free spins, dips and, if time permits, other fun moves. Ideally folks will have taken our Introduction to Swing classes and/or have some similar experience.

Dance shoes and/or socks will be required at the Masonic Temple Ballroom going forward. If you have questions about this requirement, please reach out to us.
