Build Your Own Skateboard Workshop

This hands-on workshop allows participants to design their own one-of-a-kind skateboard! Learn about the history of skateboard shapes and functions before using creative problem solving skills and personal artistic license to design a unique skateboard deck from start to finish. This process encourages critical thinking, reinforces math and measurement skills, teaches basic woodworking techniques and safety, and ultimately gives participants a sense of personal accomplishment upon completion of the project. Participants will leave with a fully functional skateboard of your own creation!
