Tannahill End of An Era Celebration

To celebrate the past 28 years, WSISD invites current and former staff members, students, families and the community
to an End of an Era Celebration on Wednesday, April 30 from
6 to 7 p.m.

The event will include a hot dog cookout, games and activities for the kids, a performance by the Brewer High School Wind Ensemble with music during Tannahill's tenure, tours of the building, and a time for WSISD friends and family—old and new—to come together and reminisce.

The closing of Tannahill as we know it will enable the Fine Arts Academy WSISD to expand and become a neighborhood school. TIS became a sixth grade campus this past year (all fifth graders returned to their elementary schools as part of the grade realignment plan). Sixth graders will attend the new, three-story Sixth Grade Center at Brewer Middle School, starting with the 2025-26 school years.
