About the event

¡Que Rica la Cultura! Panel Conversation
🎨 ¡Qué Rica la Cultura! | Panel Discussion 🎨
📍 Saturday, May 10 | 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
📍 Artes de la Rosa | Rose Marine Theater

Join us for a powerful, one-of-a-kind conversation on the role of the arts in preserving culture, shaping neighborhood identity, and building vibrant, resilient communities.

Moderated by Dennis Chiessa (UTA School of Architecture), this panel features acclaimed artists whose work explores the intersection of memory, culture, and contemporary life:

✨ Einar and Jamex de la Torre – internationally renowned brothers known for their bold, mixed-media glasswork
🎨 Carlos Donjuan – painter, muralist, and co-founder of Sour Grapes crew
🖼️ Arnoldo Hurtado Escobar – Fort Worth artist and cultural producer
🖌️ Benito Huerta – painter, curator, and longtime advocate for Latino artists

This event is FREE and open to the public. Hosted by the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Artes de la Rosa, SiNaCa Studios, and UT Arlington.

Following the panel, invited guests will attend the ¡Qué Rica la Cultura! Luncheon — a curated culinary and cultural experience hosted by Jorge Baldor, Anette Landeros, and chefs Juan Rodriguez of Magdalena’s and Marios Hedary of Byblos.
