How do you lead when everything is changing—and changing fast?
Join us for a dynamic, interactive workshop designed for first responders and civilian leaders who want to strengthen their ability to pivot under pressure without losing themselves in the process.
In this 3-hour session, you’ll build real-world adaptability skills through hands-on activities, group reflection, and scenario-based learning—featuring LEGO challenges, improv, and our signature “Omaha Drill.” Whether you're navigating shifts in the field or leading teams through uncertainty, this workshop will help you lead with clarity, courage, and confidence.
✔️ What adaptability really means (and what it doesn’t)
✔️ How to ground yourself in your values when facing uncertainty
✔️ Real-time pivoting and decision-making skills
✔️ How to adapt without burnout, resentment, or self-betrayal
✔️ Communication techniques for leading through sudden change
🔹 High-energy facilitation from a law enforcement leader and an operations specialist
🔹 Partner and group challenges (Omaha Drill + LEGO adaptability activity)
🔹 A quick dose of improv for mental flexibility
🔹 Real-time feedback, reflection, and a clear take-home commitment
🔹 A safe, inclusive space where both laughter and honesty are welcome
First responders, field leaders, operations professionals, and anyone leading people through change—especially in high-stakes, high-stress environments.
Sabrina Moon – Leadership specialist, Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator, and former senior operations leader with 25 years in railroads and manufacturing.
Mitch McKinney – Active-duty police officer, academy instructor, and leadership trainer specializing in procedural justice, recruitment, and retention.
You’ll leave with your “Pivot Promise”—a commitment to lead with resilience and integrity when it counts most.
Please plan to attend from 8:30a-9a for some networking and coffee before the training starts!
