This Clinic is suitable for students who can ride their horses in an arena at a walk and a trot (minimum) in a group, and are looking to advance their skills riding outside on safe trails and with obstacles. We will be taking it slow on the trail!! The goal is to learn how to notice, respect and advance our horse's thresholds on the ground and under saddle and stay safe. 1 short trail adventure each day plus obstacles and arena preparation to increase confidence. If you wish to join the Mountain Trip for the first time, you should attend this clinic.
This clinic is specifically designed for students who are comfortable riding their horses at a walk and trot in an arena setting and are eager to build their skills for riding outside on safe trails and navigating obstacles. We will prioritize a slow and steady approach on the trails to ensure both rider and horse can learn effectively.

Our main objective is to help participants recognize and respect their horse's thresholds both on the ground and under saddle, all while maintaining safety. Each day of the clinic will feature a short trail adventure, along with obstacle challenges and arena preparation exercises aimed at boosting confidence for both horse and rider.

If you're planning to join us on the trail for the first time, this clinic serves as an excellent opportunity to prepare and enhance your skills. We look forward to seeing you there!
