Self-Defence Course
We’re excited to share a new opportunity for members of Our Veterans Haven (OVH) — a 6-week Self-Defence Course taught by Joe from Revive Exercise Physiotherapy. Joe will introduce participants to the fundamentals of Wing Chun Kung Fu, focusing on practical self-defence strategies.
About the Course:
Type: Beginner-friendly, no experience needed
Focus: Basic stance, attack and defence techniques
Duration: 6 weeks
Time: Mondays at 2:00 PM (45-minute sessions)
Cost: Free for OVH members
Dress: Comfortable, casual clothing
Location: Our Veterans Haven, 180 Oxley Road, Forrestdale
We’re currently seeking 6–8 participants to commit to this trial course. If there’s enough interest, we’ll look to begin within the next month.
While our preference is to start with a women’s-only group (no age limit) to create a safe, supportive space, we’re open to mixed groups if there is strong interest.
