DETAILS:
To bring our space back to life, we are looking for like minded community volunteers to join us (pending clear weather) outdoors and spend a couple of hours in nature, get our gloves dirty, have a chat, meet our community, and prepare the degraded site for next year’s plantings. At this stage this will involve hand removal of select priority weeds considered the greatest threat and allow native species to replace them.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
10am - 12pm (9.50am registration)
Meet at the entrance on the cnr of Aubin Grove Link and Cape Le Grand at 9.50am registration.
Training and tools will be provided.
Free BBQ and some refreshments at a nearby park if you wish to join.
Wear closed shoes, long pants, bring a hat and water bottle.
We understand that we all have busy lives so if you can’t make the event, or even be there the whole duration, that is totally fine. We just appreciate any help that is generously provided!
As a supportive community, we believe we can achieve great outcomes and return unique spaces back to its former diverse glory for communities to appreciate again.
