Findhorn No to the Flow - Action Group - COMMUNITY MEET UP
Saturday 13 December, 11am to 1pm, James Milne Institute, Findhorn
Individuals, groups, businesses who are passionate about TAKING ACTION in relation to the Moray Flow Park are invited to come together to consider next steps, activities and areas of priority for taking action against the plans of the Moray Flow Park.
Areas on the table for consideration so far include (but not limited to):
Hosting a regular Conversation Cafe at the Findhorn Village Centre for people to come together find out more, discuss concerns etc
Digital Communications - supporting social media, whats app, e-newsletter etc
Media & PR - liaising with media, including photography, films etc
Research & Reporting - preparing key information documents for publication, letters for distribution and sharing more widely (liaising with Stop the Moray Flow Park)
Advocacy & Lobbying - lobbying key stakeholders, politicians, councillors etc
Information Distribution - door to door, stalls at events - local Findhorn / Forres area, and / or joining up with other such as the Nairn Says No To the Flow Campaign
Merchandise - t-shirts, badges, banners (coordination of inc design, print, and distribution etc)
For each of these areas of activity to happen there will need to be at least one person who takes lead to ensure it happens supported by others e.g. each area of action activity needs a small team to make this happen!
If you are passionate about taking ACTION please come along so that we can consider and agree areas of action activity together.
We appreciate it is a busy time of year and that this date might not suit you, therefore we will also set up a google document with key action areas agreed that you can sign up for to support too.
