Behind every legacy in the logging industry, there’s a woman who gave more than most folks will ever know.
She didn’t drive the truck. She didn’t run the saw. She didn’t load the logs or crawl into the cab before sunrise.
But she carried the weight.
She raised the kids. Kept the home. Packed the lunches. She stood by the man she loved while he gave everything he had to the woods. She listened when times were hard. She was the heart that he came home to day after day.
No matter what the challenge of the industry was She just kept him and so many others going.
Here in Forks, we’ve always honored our men. We’ve got the Forks Timber Museum, filled with their tools and stories. We’ve got the Logger Memorial, etched with the names of the ones who didn’t make it home.
But this night—this night is for the women who stayed by their side.
For the ones who kept the home warm, the family fed, the kids strong, and the love steady. For the women who held this town together, even while their own hearts were breaking.

This year, every dollar goes to Jolene Callis, in honor of Tyler Ness—a man who gave everything for the family he loved.
If you’ve ever worked the woods... If you’ve ever been loved by a woman like this... If you’ve ever buried a brother, a father, or a friend...
Then you already know what this night means.
It’s about honor. It’s about sacrifice. It’s about saying the thank you that was never asked for—but always deserved.
These women didn’t ask to be honored. But we honor them anyway.
So let’s raise our glasses. And let’s come together and give these women of the woods the recognition they earned a thousand times over.
