Winner of three Tony Awards and the 2010 Pulitzer Prize, Next to Normal was chosen as one of the year’s best shows by critics around the country. Dad’s an architect; Mom rushes to pack lunches; their daughter and son are bright, wise-cracking teens–the typical American family. And yet, because of Mom’s emotional struggles, their lives are anything but normal. This musical takes the audience on a powerful journey into the hearts and minds of each character, presenting their story with love, sympathy and heart.
