BRC is delighted to present Brussels Roots Night #6, an edition where we collaborate with reggae artists from the Brussels scene!
We are honored to welcome and celebrate together the return of GAMMA SOUND SYSTEM feat WOODUB, who will be powering the sound for the evening, as well as the release of several new works on BACO Records by the multi-instrumentalist and singer DJAYDUB, who will be performing live, accompanied by our great friend, Brussels-based MC and singer DHAZED!
Your hosts, the BRUSSELS ROOTS COLLECTIVE, will be playing for you throughout the night.
GAMMA SOUND was the very first UK-style sound system in Brussels. Founded in 2011, the group has brought a powerful vibe to many events, including legendary sessions alongside Reservoir Dub, as well as concerts throughout Belgium and across Europe, from France to Croatia.
Gamma Sound also made a mark with its exclusive dubplates, flooding many sessions with a unique sound.
Today, some of their tracks have been officially released on King Shiloh Records, Reservoir Dub Records, and their own label, Gamma Sound Records.

A reggae drummer on the scene since 2000, first with the band Univibes, and later collaborating with Uman, Omar Perry, Kalabash Band, Carlton Livingston, David Corleone, among others.
Djaydub has since turned to production as a multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and sound engineer, working with the duo One Root.
In 2020, he met Manjul—a genius multi-instrumentalist and sound engineer, and a reggae specialist.
This collaboration gave birth to a real dub-making powerhouse, whose first release in the series came out on BACO Records, featuring Omar Perry, Uman, Manjul, Crosby Bolani, and more.
Live, Djaydub performs and dubs his multitrack productions, accompanied by an MC – and for this special occasion, that MC will be Dhazed Fyah!

GAMMA SOUND a été le tout premier sound system de style britannique à Bruxelles.
Fondé en 2011, le groupe a apporté une ambiance puissante à de nombreuses soirées, notamment lors de sessions légendaires aux côtés de Reservoir Dub, ainsi que lors de concerts dans toute la Belgique et en Europe, de la France à la Croatie.
Gamma Sound a également fait sensation avec ses dubplates exclusives, qui ont inondé de nombreuses sessions d'un son unique.
Aujourd'hui, certains de leurs morceaux sont officiellement sortis sur King Shiloh Records, Reservoir Dub Records et leur propre label, Gamma Sound Records.

Met een mix van dub, roots reggae, rub-a-dub en dancehall brengt hij lyrics over vrijheid, gelijkheid en sociale bewustwording.
Met een unieke stem en krachtige flow wordt elk optreden een meeslepende ervaring.
