The Blackwater Bike Shop Root Beer Ride is rolling out every Monday starting on April 28th!
When- Every Monday @ 6pm, starting April 28th through the end of August
Where- The ride meets at the shop. There is plenty of parking behind the building. We leave promptly at 6pm.
What- This is a road ride, so a road or gravel bike is optimal.
Please bring a helmet, rear light (front is good to have also), water, and any nutrition you may require for around 2hr of riding
Root Beer Ride details - The route is ~22 miles of rolling terrain and does stop to regroup at several intersections. A base level of fitness is needed and there are hills including 1500ft of climbing, but all skill levels are welcome!!
We make a stop at the North Bedford Baptist Church on Coffee Road for refueling. The ride makes another regrouping stop at Monkee Joes on Perrowville Rd (formerly Sonic). There are 2 sprint points along the ride which are optional.
Popsicles and/or Root Beer are served after the ride!
And needing a tune-up is no excuse.....there's still time to get you ready to ride with a fast turn-around on repairs at the shop!
Stop by or call us if you have questions about the ride.
And yes... YOU can do it!
