Welcome to the 2025 edition of one of MSSD’s most beloved annual runs — named in honor of Paul Penny’s (Blimey Cabrio) MINI. This year, our veteran leader Mason Hendricks will guide you through 210 miles of the very best twisty roads in the Dragon region.
You’ll conquer The Dragon, cruise the Cherohala Skyway, and wind through legendary routes like Wayah Rd and Moonshiner 28. We’ll break for a buffet lunch in Robbinsville, take in some scenic regroup stops, and finish at Fontana Village.
By the end, you may be saying “Uncle!” — but with a huge smile.

• When: Saturday, October 4, 2025 — 7:30 AM staging
• Start Location: Fontana Village General Store
• Wheels Up: 7:45 AM sharp to Deals Gap
• Breakfast: Deals Gap — 8:15 AM arrival, 9:00–9:15 AM departure after everyone gets a bite
• End Location: Fontana Village, approx. 3:30–4:00 PM
