Step Up to Prevent Suicide Campaign

A four-week awareness and funding campaign for NAMI Fond du Lac County through the month of September, which is recognized nationally as Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.

As a way of promoting suicide prevention and mental health awareness in Fond du Lac County, NAMI FDLC has created a four-week awareness and fundraising campaign from September 1 - September 28, closing the month with a celebratory finale event with bingo at Brothertown Indian Nation on October 5th at 1pm.

Teams of up to 6 members or single participants will compete against one another for awards such as Highest Mileage and Biggest Fundraiser. This is a friendly competition which dually serves to promote awareness for suicide prevention. This is our FOURTH year Stepping Up!

100% of campaign donations and proceeds will go towards NAMI Fond du Lac County to support evidence-based educational, advocacy, and service efforts focused on preventing suicide and breaking the stigma associated with mental illness.
