Paddleboard Race - 50th Celebrations Trawler Weekend

In 2023, we added a new addition to the Trawler Race Weekend… The Paddleboard Race!

Paddlers of all ages and abilities grabbed their boards and darted to the water like a scene from Baywatch!

Fuelled by the crowd's roars on the Quay, they navigated the inner harbour course with paddle power for the taste of a fishy victory!

You don't need to be able to stand; you can kneel, sit, or even balance on one leg and do it. It is all about taking part, having fun and lots of laughter!!

So come on down and get involved and will you be crowned this years winner?

Registration opens 10:30am
Race Starts 11:00am
