I can't believe how lucky we all are to be able to have this in our little corner of the county. I'm so excited to present a 2-piece performance by heroes made from humble, simple diy / lo-fi roots, an acoustic kinda angsty sort of (anti-)folky type of emo / indie / alt pop darling band who now tour all over the world for the hearts of those they've touched. It's going to be an intense, emotional experience to be involved in, they can be seriously heavy in many ways. Folkestone is blessed to host CRYWANK at the Grand Burstin Hotel. Supporting are Kent's finest emos and greebos below.
CRYWANK 9:20-end
Main support is RENDER, an emocore band with some mathy and post-hardcore like segments, a lead vocalist singing at the top of his lungs on the cusp of shouting, with araw uncontained passion blasts out of this entire bands presence backed by amazing instrumentation. You just have to see it! They don't have Instagram I don't think but you'll know them from the scene when you see them etc. Come see!
RENDER 8:30-9:00
Before that is JE SOUHAITE, a screamo band sometimes going by the tag emoviolence. Their style is a nice combo of some classic stuff, a kinda punky fully grindy fast blastbeat approach to 90s screamo worship with nice arpeggio twinkly emo bits all over. Proper tantrum music, jump around and go nuts!

The second band on the night is an awesome alternative/emotional post-hardcore band with lots of cool styles you'd hear under tags like indie pop/indie hardcore/emo pop/alt pop, they are the wonderfully talented SARAH TONIN. They play a heavy noise, almost shoegazey guitar riff tone with soft but powerful singing vocals backed by tight drums and bass. They sound very lovely, you gotta hear em!

Opening the night is a youth attack, high energy group of emo punk kids playing a screamo/emo influenced new school brand of southeast hardcore. Get down early to watch BELLS tear it up with influences from SEHC itself, Bad Brains covers and pure fury from all kinds of hardcore and emotions hardcore styles.
