Holloway Oldtimers Baseball Festival!!
Please come join us Labor Day weekend for our 77th festival!!!
The Holloway Old Timers organization is busy planning the 77th Annual Old Timers Festival will once again be held on Labor Day Weekend, August 29-31, 2025. We will serve our traditional foods, like Ham & Bean soup w/cornbread, pork sandwiches and BBQ chicken, all cooked over an open fire like how they did in 1948 when the festival began. We will again have Italian Sausage sandwiches this year. We are working to organize our annual Oldtimer baseball game against the Flushing American Legion Riders.
We are asking for YOUR HELP by being a sponsor of our festival. We will be putting up “SPONSOR SIGNS” during the festival. These signs will show our GREAT APPRECIATION as well as serve as advertisement for you or your business! We will be adding stars on sponsor signs this year. The number of stars will reflect a sponsor’s level: 5 stars over $500 in donations; 4 stars over $400, 3 stars $300, to a 1 star/$100 sponsor. ANY dollar amount will help. Remember All Donations are tax deductible.
We are looking for volunteers during our festival to help with games for kids. If interested in helping in any way during the festival, contact Linda Nester @ 740-541-5401 or Trina Carrel @ 740-461-8373. We also are asking for items for our Chinese Auction. We hope have different Auction items each of the 3 days so we are asking for help with a variety of new items for the auctions. We also need soda, water, and baked goods too.
This is the only event that we hold each year so a successful festival is crucial to fund our organization all year long.
