Join us for a special afternoon of music, reflection, and Franciscan spirituality during the Season of Creation. Our annual Earth Care Sunday gathering invites you to make peace with Creation and the Creator through art, faith, and dialogue.
World Music for Contemplation
Dick Sisto & Jeremy Allen with special guest Aaron Boaz

Renowned jazz vibraphonist Richard Sisto, bassist Jeremy Allen, and violinist Aaron Boaz create a meditative soundscape that blends jazz with world rhythms and spiritual depth. Inspired by global jazz traditions and nature’s beauty, their contemplative music invites us into a spirit of connection, creativity, and reverence for all creation.
Peace with God and All Creation
Presentation by Friar Cristofer Fernández, OFM Conv.

A Conventual Franciscan brother, ecologist, and theologian, Friar Cristofer Fernández brings together science, faith, and Franciscan spirituality. With a background in environmental biology and Franciscan ecotheology, he has worked with ministries such as Catholic Climate Covenant and Franciscans International on ecological advocacy worldwide. Currently serving the houseless and migrants in New York City, he will explore how faith and science unite in addressing the climate crisis.
Special Significance
This year marks the 800th anniversary of the Canticle of Brother Sun, written by St. Francis of Assisi. This hymn of creation inspired Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’: On Care for Our Common Home and continues to call us to live in harmony with all of God’s creation.
