Pope Francis reminds us that Christian hope is not passive—it is bold, active, and rooted in joy. In a time when many feel discouraged or overwhelmed, the Holy Father calls us to live as signs of mercy and perseverance in a world that thirsts for compassion and truth.

This session explores how we, as the Body of Christ, are invited to embody the spirit of the Jubilee—through small acts of love, joyful witness, and commitment to one another. Together, we’ll reflect on how the Church’s mission is not only to receive hope, but to become its living presence.

Presenter: Judy Ribar

About the Presenter
Judy Ribar is the Associate Director at Mount Saint Francis Center for Spirituality, bringing over 40 years of experience in Catholic education and retreat ministry. A former teacher, assistant principal, and Retreat Director at Assumption High School, Judy has dedicated her life to helping others deepen their relationship with God.

Since joining the Center in 2018, she has created and facilitated retreats for women, parish councils, school faculties, and individuals in recovery—always with a focus on meaningful spiritual growth. Her ministry is rooted in hospitality, listening, and helping others encounter the steady, renewing love of God.
