Workshop with Redd Volkaert

Join us for a fun-filled Saturday conversation with legendary guitarist, Redd Volkaert. Redd will spend the afternoon discussing and demonstrating how to find the musicality within your instrument and within yourself. How to unlock the mysteries of the fingerboard (no matter what instrument you play) and how to make the best of your musical journey and be a musician that everyone wants to play with.

Cost is $35. Workshop is a minimum of 90 minutes in length.

This workshop is intended for intermediate and advanced musicians who play any string instrument, with a focus on guitar. We’ll listen to Redd’s wisdom and enjoy some demonstrations - it is not necessary to bring your own instrument to this workshop.

From country and western-swing to jazz and rock, Redd Volkaert is considered a true giant of country music and the Telecaster guitar. Redd is a Grammy-winner and a guitar-playing legend who is renowned throughout the country music world and beyond. Redd is beloved for his trademark wit and sense of humor. Redd now lives in Galax, Virginia, and performs internationally in addition to his residency at The Floyd Country Store in Floyd, Virginia.

A minimum of 4 participants is required.
