Well it’s almost that time again! Harvest time! We will pick the Villard Blanc grapes on Saturday, August 23rd, starting at approximately 8:00 to 8:30 AM, two weeks from now! We’re gonna have a blast with this being our first pick after we’ve opened and we’ll have music, food, exclusive print T-shirts specific to this year’s harvest, a grape stomp, and lots of wine to drink for everyone who participates. This year, we’re getting more organized about organizing the harvests (the back of a napkin wasn’t cutting it) so if you want to pick we have a link for you to go to sign up. Do NOT sign up unless you and your party can commit to picking. Once you sign up we are planning on you being there so please don’t leave us hanging! We don’t exactly know what to expect with this so if we have too many people signup we’ll let you know if you don’t make it onto the list.

This link takes you to our website (yes, we actually have a website too now) where you will give us a primary contact name, contact info, party count, and t-shirt sizes so we can plan for you. We will order T-shirts as we get commits and depending on timing of the order we either have t-shirts you can take with you the day of the pick or you can pick up later at your convenience. We expect the pick to last approximately three to four hours on the day of harvest so plan accordingly! More details will be at our website and FB page in the coming days but in general, you’ll just need to bring yourself, preferably a hat, sunscreen, and some gloves are recommended. Pruning shears will be provided for the actual picking of the grapes.
As stated previously we’re looking to limit volunteers to approximately 50 people. That should have us completing the harvest before / around noon which is a great time to get our food, wine, and live music on!
