We’re so excited to announce the headliner of Independence Fest 2025 is multi-platinum singer/songwriter Chris Janson! With hits like “Buy me a boat,” “Fix A Drink,” and “Good Vibes,” Janson is known for writing all of his own songs and his electric live performances. A proud member of the Grand Ole Opry, Janson’s music has been regularly featured on the Country music charts, marking five career #1 hits so far. As a frequent presence at the nation’s biggest country festivals and tours, we’re thrilled he’s decided to join us this Fourth of July. Independence Fest 2025 is on Friday, July 4. As usual, it’s an all-day celebration. The festivities kick off in the morning with our annual Children’s Parade to Leonard and Helen Johns Park (1800 Timber Creek Rd.), where there will be kids’ activities, face painting, live entertainment, and free hot dogs served by the Summit Club of Flower Mound. Then, the party continues at Bakersfield Park (1201 Duncan Ln.) with live entertainment on the main stage, food trucks, vendor booths, a car show, a kids’ zone presented by CoServ, and an amazing firework show, courtesy of Kelley Family McDonald’s, to end the night.
