Repair Cafe

A Repair Café is a fun and free community event where neighbors come together to breathe new life into broken items. The Chicago Southland Green Committee invites you to bring your wobbly chairs, flickering lamps, torn clothing, tired plants or anything else in need of a little TLC to this new event. Skilled volunteers will help you make repairs on the spot, share their know-how, and keep perfectly good stuff out of the landfill. It’s hands-on, heartwarming, and a great way to connect with your community, one fix at a time.
