National Night Out & Touch a Truck

Join the Village of Flossmoor for a night of free fun with our Police, Fire, and Public Works Departments on Tuesday, Aug. 5, from 5-8 p.m. in the Village and IJP School parking lots! Enjoy kids' games and refreshments, learn how Police and Fire departments use their specialized equipment, and explore the Public Works Department vehicle fleet with a Touch a Truck experience! This free event — sponsored by ComEd — is a celebration of community and a chance to meet the dedicated members of our local public safety departments. Weather permitting, we may also receive a special visit from a medical helicopter! Kids can also enjoy face painting provided by the HF Girls Varsity Soccer Team and take part in Flossmoor's famous traditional water balloon toss. It’s a night of hands-on fun, community pride, and public safety appreciation that you won’t want to miss.
